Under the leadership of Dr. Amit Maydeo, BIDS boasts of having 6 full time experienced Gastroenterologists on its board and 9 part time consultants.

BIDS is housed in a 15,000 square foot spacious area on the 3rd floor of the Global hospital and constitutes 6 fully equipped Endoscopy suites, ESWL facility, a GI Physiology Lab, Library, Endoscopy training centre and also its own 50 seated Auditorium. In a short span after its inauguration in October 2012, BIDS has made a mark of being one of the leading facilities of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy in this part of the world.
